Vincent is a husband, father, son, brother, relative, pastor, and friend. As an elder in the United Methodist Church, he serves currently in the Texas Annual Conference as Lead Disciple Maker at First Love Community "A 21st Century United Methodist Church in Humble, Texas. First Love Community is a merged/fresh vision for the Northwest communities of Metro Houston. The goals of FLC are to prepare, empower, guide, and grow disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Vincent entered ministry at age 26. He is married to the former Paula Trammell, of Shreveport, Louisiana. They are have a merged family of four children, Gregory, Paula, Brandeon and Desmond, with one grandchild, Nyhla. His scripture reference is Mark 10:27 "Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God." Vincent uses the famous quote from Frederick Douglass, "If there is no struggle, there is no progress," as a motivator for life. Vincent loves all sports, photography, great food, serving people, and fellowship with God. He holds higher education degrees from Tennessee State University, Nashville (Bachelor of Science) and Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC (Master of Divinity).
