What will happen during a typical worship service?

A typical worship service at a First Love Community "A 21st Century United Methodist church may include:

• a greeting
• a praise and worship
• a time for the congregation to greet each other
•  prayer time
• an offering
• a time for the children and youth to gather
• scripture readings
• the sermon  
• an invitation to the altar
• a sending forth

Communion may also be served.  An invitation to the Lord's table will be given for all to celebrate communion.  You can choose whether or not you wish to participate.

Often we will print words and responses on the screen to help those who are unfamiliar with worship.
